SOCIAL SERVICE
Studying costs money - there’s no getting around that. Happily there are solutions: the Flemish Government’s study grant, child benefit, taking a student job, the living wage or unemployment benefit. There are many rules and conditions, but STUVO’s social service has staff who are up to date with everything! They will be happy to guide you as to your status and help you find out what you’re entitled to. If you can’t wait, you can find lots of information at www.centenvoorstudenten.be. But there's more! We also have a budget we can use to give you some financial support of our own. You can be sure that we treat every application with the greatest discretion and that you will receive an answer very quickly.
In the column opposite, there are various options for funding your studies. If you cannot find an answer to your question, don't hesitate contact one of our social service people!
