TUITION FEE

Your tuition fee is the amount you pay when you register to enjoy your higher education. This is a fixed amount which is the same for every college and university in Flanders.

Your tuition fee is calculated on the basis of a fixed cost, plus a variable cost for each study credit. The fixed and variable elements depend on your status (students not qualified for a grant, students of modest means not qualified for a grant, and students receiving a grant). At the start of the academic year, you pay a fixed sum. After approval of your individual study programme, you will then be invoiced for your full tuition fee, calculated by the number of credits you take. This applies both to students studying on campus and to distance learners.
