De Kouter, the oldest student club in Ostend and a firm nightlife favourite, celebrates its 25th birthday this year. One of De Kouter’s strengths is the camaraderie for which we’re known far and wide.
Every week De Kouter puts on varied activities ranging from a visit to a larger student town like Bruges, Ghent or Leuven to traditional singing, bowling, film evenings, pub crawls and much more. www.dekouter.net

EUROAVIA Oostende is a local subgroup of EUROAVIA International: a student body that brings together aerospace studentsfrom all over Europe consisting of more than 2500 membersand 42 universities.
Our mission is for our members to experience firsthand what the aerospace industry is really like and help them broadentheir network. We organize company visits, field trips,workshops, guest speakers, internship contracts and much more!
On the international level our members have the opportunity to gain work experience by joining a working group. In these groups our members work on projects, develop specific skills and are able to experience team dynamics identical to the real workplace.
Additionally, there are week-long-events filled with field trips, workshops and social nights organized by local groups for foreign members only! During these international events members widen their cultural horizons while sharing their passion for aerospace science.

Welcome to Aeronautica!
In the meantime, we have been attracting students for five years now who come to study on the beautiful Belgian coast. We provide the necessary ambiance and amusement every time. Whether it's campus construction or campus aviation that you're studying, come on over, everyone is welcome! We organize pool and karaoke evenings, we try to escape from escape rooms, we go bowling, but we also act silly on the beach of Ostend or have a drink at a café. Ultimately, we are one big family, so we are also present at activities of both De Kouter and EUROAVIA Oostende. Do you have questions?
