PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT

If necessary, we can refer you to another service or a private therapist. We can do this in consultation with you if you need extra help, or if for practical reasons it is difficult to access the services STUVO offers.

Under certain conditions you can receive some financial assistance for this.

PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION

Some students need study and examination facilities. In consultation with the student counsellor (STB) for your course, these can be provided if you can produce a valid certificate. This mainly applies to students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia, or a developmental disability such as ADHD.

If you have never been diagnosed you must first be tested. If your counselor approves, STUVO can make a financial contribution up to a maximum of €200. You can find more information from your STB.

BORROWING SOFTWARE

VIVES Students who conclude a facilities contact may install Kurzweil free of charge via their STB. Students (KU Leuven, Bruges campus and HBO5 VIVES students) with a facilities contract can borrow software (Kurzweil) free of charge for one year from STUVO. This can be extended if necessary.
