This training is for all students who want to feel more secure and less anxious in social interactions. Do you sometimes feel tense in social situations and do you often think about how you come across to your conversation partner? Then this training might be something for you.
In this training we will focus on social skills and communication skills. We will shed light on the theory but we will also put it into practice. I would like to emphasize that attention is paid to a safe environment where no one is obliged to participate in exercises that he or she does not feel comfortable with.
We will focus on how we can start a conversation, keep going one and close one, and how we can prevent miscommunication. We will keep an eye on how to communicate verbally and non-verbally. Furthermore we will look at various causes of feeling tense in social situations and how we can reduce this tense feeling. Hereby we will explore how our thinking and feeling influences our social behavior.
