By bus

VIVES Campus Kortrijk is very easily reached by public transport. Every morning six buses leave from behind the station and drive directly to the VIVES Campus in Kortrijk! The lines to Hoog Kortrijk are 1, 12, 13, 15 and 16. Line 13 is the most used. This bus loops around the campus. Every faculty has its own stop.

Thanks to cooperation between De Lijn, the City of Kortrijk and Hogeschool VIVES, students studying on the campus in Kortrijk can apply for a student pass enabling them to travel without limits in the greater Kortrijk region.

As of this academic year, the pass uses a MOBIB card.

This electronic chip card carries your bus pass. Think of it as a bank card onto which you upload your tickets! You make a one-off payment of €5 for the MOBIB card.

If you already have a MOBIB card from De Lijn:

Go to the student office and pay €10. Then your student pass will be automatically uploaded and you can use it after a day or two.

If you have a MOBIB card from another company (TEC, MIVB/STIB, SNCB/NMBS):

First register your MOBIB card with De Lijn (Lijnwinkel), then go to the student office and pay €10. Then your student pass will be automatically uploaded and you can use it after a day or two.

If you don't have a MOBIB card yet:

Apply for your student pass from the student office. You pay €10 for the pass and a €5 administration fee for the MOBIB card. You wil receive a new MOBIB card by post within two weeks, so you should apply on time.

• on all city lines (no 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12 & 13)
• on De Lijn 15 Kortrijk - Kooigem - Spiere up to and including the Kooigem - Koninklijke Jacht stop
• on De Lijn 16 Kortrijk - Rollegem - Moeskroen up to and including the Rollegem - Tombroek stop
• on De Lijn 40 Kortrijk - Menen up to and including the Bissegem - Eldorado stop
• on De Lijn 42 Kortrijk - Moorsele - Geluwe - Menen up to and including the Heule - Lenteleven stop
• on De Lijn 50 Kortrijk - Kuurne Seizoenwijk up to and including the Kortrijk - Pius X-kerk stop
• on De Lijn 51 Kortrijk - Kuurne Sint-Pieter up to and including the Kortrijk - Pius X-kerk stop
• on De Lijn 52 Kortrijk - Tielt Up to and including the Heule - Shopping Center stop
